Education

Most of Harbor of Hope’s residents don’t have a high school diploma. The Harbor finds education to be essential for a successful rehabilitation, especially for employment opportunities.

Harbor of Hope requires all residents to gain a GED before leaving the center.

Harbor of Hope will help residents gain access to other higher learning opportunities, such as DMACC and technical schools. In 2007, four residents gained their GED and two went to DMACC.
